I'm 31 years old and live with my husband Rori in Brisbane, Australia, where I work as a web designer.

Music has always been an essential part of my life, I love everything about it and feel strange if don't have something playing in the background.

My musical education began at the keyboard of a rickety upright piano when I was five years old. In high school I continued to play the piano and also took formal exams in music theory and musicianship.

I became interested in electronic music about 10 years ago when I realised one piano wasn't going to give me the variety of sound I was after. I learnt to track using Impulse Tracker, then later moved to Renoise.

I spent a few years on mp3.com as Alarin, wrote some music for a free MMO (Quest) and released a series of tracks for the Shadowrun RPG. Recently I bought an M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 which lets me compose on a piano again.
